The Cameri Theater, founded in 1944 is Tel Aviv’s municipal theater and one of Israeli leading theater companies. Every year, the Cameri puts on at least. 12 new productions as well as showing a repertoire of 20 productions from previous seasons.
The theater has 5 auditoriums that can seat a range of audiences from large audiences (960 in the Cameri 1 auditorium) and more intimate productions (120 in the Coffee-Theater auditorium). In addition to its regular performances, the Cameri also has a touring company that presents plays across the country.
Performances are given almost. every day of the week and in all the auditoriums. Many of the shows include translation into English – but you should check first.
